Klara Mucci’s life began in Split, a small
coastal town deep in the Mediterranean. One could say she has a typical
southern temperament that led her to practice singing and dancing at a
very early age. At the beginning of the 2nd decade of Y2K, she played in
a few avantgarde theaters and modern dance groups in Berlin and London. After experimenting with modern forms, she
became interested in classics and started taking acting lessons. She was invited to audition for musicals South Pacific and
Fiddler on the Roof, where she was chosen for parts in both productions. With both musicals, she had several tours through Europe
with the final performance in the UK.
Following that experience,
she earned a diploma in Language gymnasium. Despite other people’s
expectations, she turned her interest back to her first love of
painting. At a very early age, she won several medals at painting
competitions. After receiving a scholarship from Faculty of design, she
studied painting, design, history of art, costume design, scenography
and sociology of fashion.
On her third year, she enrolled in the
Academy of Dramatic Arts and completed 5 years of acting, parallel
with her first Faculty position. During that time she also enrolled into the
Rock Academy and completed her studies in jazz singing and dancing.
After that initial period of schooling in theatre, she shifted her dedication to film.
She
worked on many feature films and international projects which afforded
her opportunities to shoot in France, Germany, Denmark, Bosnia, Belgium,
Netherlands, Slovakia etc.. These experiences abroad introduced her to
various cultures, taught her languages, and honed her skills in
horseback riding, fencing, as well as boxing.
